Candorville: 3/6/2007- The Return of Monty Nixton pt. II

Spread the love

LA readers continue to write in asking why they don’t see Candorville in the Times. I have no idea, since they didn’t inform me or the syndicate of this move beforehand. From what some of you have told me, they seem to have cut a few comics to make room for more advertising, but I don’t know whether that’s really the case. What can you do to help return Candorville to the pages of the Times? You could write to them, or call them and ask for it. Perhaps if they realized the loss of subscribers would outweigh the extra few inches of ad space, they’d change their minds. And keep in mind, sometimes papers quietly drop a strip just to see whether there’s any reader reaction. If there is none, the strip’s gone, but if readers sound off, the paper knows it has a following and it returns. For all we know, this is such a test. So if you want Candorville back in LA, let The Times know as soon and as often as you can. In the meantime, visit Candorville.com daily to follow Lemont, Susan and Clyde. There are big developments on the way that you wouldn’t want to miss.

I don’t wish for anyone to drink like that, but I do wish some Republicans would come over to the Democrat’s camp and vote this year.

This is both sad and funny. It’s thought provoking.
