The past three strips about “Flagman,” the online bigot, were inspired by this thread from the Politics & Society forum at ToonTalk.org. I started the ToonTalk board to provide a place where aspiring cartoonists could hang out with - and get advice from - the pros. I created the political forum at that board purely to generate ideas for Candorville, and it never fails to pay off.
