		<description>Yep.  It happened in "Moonlighting", and it happened in "I Dream of Jeannie". I think it even happened in "Anything but Love". People who are interesting on show while they're "not dating" apparently become boring when they are. It would probably have happened to "Will &#38;#38; Grace" if Will had actually been a closeted heterosexual. But that would have been too farfetched.

But, dude, don't blame the characters --- blame the writers. People in committed relationships can be portrayed as interesting, witty, and with that bit of frisson between them. Just look at the "Thin Man" movies.</description>
