I don't believe in paradoxes. I just don't believe the universe is that fragile. But to address the situation, if future Lemont went back to 2004 to warn that version of Lemont not to do something, thereby altering the past, when future Lemont returned to his own time, he'd be returning to the moment AFTER he left, right? Ergo, the change would take place AFTER he came back. Either that, or changing the past would cause a parallel dimension/alternate version of reality to split off, and future Lemont would return to his own version of reality's future, and perceive that nothing had changed, when in fact he had created a whole other universe in which history HAD been changed.

…I think.
The time-traveler's curse/blessing: he can change past events, but he can never experience the outcome of those changed events.
…Maybe.
