How can anyone respond to this cartoon, when the basis for it is such a stark reality? Although I am not Gay myself, I have gay friends who have gone through much the same discrimination as did Black people, Jewish people (believe it or not), and others who are “different” in any way. Interesting. That is how I would describe this type of comic strip that gives food for thought. Yes. It’s not just something you can look at and shove aside.

Extremely still timely in importance, with the passage of Prop. 8 in California defining marriage as between a man and woman ONLY, which nullifies the legally married Gay couples’ marriages. Or did it. I hope not, and hope it will be overturned. I remember when the issue of Gays adopting unwanted children came up. People with hatred would rather see little kids unloved than be loved by someone who is gay.
