I find the Candorville political strips to be much more informative than ABC's debate Wed. night from Philadelphia.

Today's strip me of the scene from the Marx Brother's Coconuts when Groucho warms the hotel staff that if he starts paying them they'll only be "wage slaves." I'm sure those of you who studied at Berkeley studied the other Marx. I prefer taking my political lessons from Groucho and comic strips.

The ARTWORK in this cartoon strip is FANTASTIC. From all angles. I like the name on the magazine, too. "TIME". It doesn't mean the actual "Time" magazine, to my conjecture. I think it means it's time to THINK. The debate in Philadelphia last night showed that people think more of jewelry and who knew whom, when and why rather than issues that face us. Like taxes. And what they are used for.
