This is an interesting comment, great art, and a very GREAT hippie Lemont from back then, up in the future (now). I love the stark black and white contrast, which probably is supposed to be an analogy of the stark black and white views of Americans. I think it also shows that so many white people are shocked that Black people should have seen slavery and days of discrimination like a busted toe. It healed. Get over it. They don't understand I'm white, though, and I understand, and didn't bash Obama's preacher until he turned on Obama and stiffed him in the back by saying he really did agree with the preacher, but that now he's just doing what a politician does to stay i office (lie). That is what I am angry about. Not what he stands for, not what he preached. But, this is an EXCELLENT strip in that many white people are still prejudiced. Not me, though. LOL. :)
