  1. Johnny says:

This strip should, however, be a part of the Democratic campaign. Can you imagine this on huge posters, put on tall buildings so everyone driving on the freeways can see it?

  2. Johnny says:

    🙁 🙂

  3. Johnny says:

On second thought, sending it to the MEDIA would be better. White House people may censor this.

  4. Johnny says:

Actually, TALLOW is the stuff you make candles with. So, are we all sending this to the white house or what?

  5. KMA says:

    mmmft. As you wish. X-

  6. hoosfoos says:

But KMA, we don’t have to look up callow — we’re smarter than you think. Callow is the stuff they make candles with. You must mean that we’re enlightened.

  7. KMA says:

HMmmm. I detect idealism and the very slight scent of callow youth in some of these remarks. [Have to look it up? Go ahead, we’ll wait.] Good things, in many instances, but not yet wise. White House, yes. Saudi Arabia, a country about which too few are familiar. This cartoon is a brilliant and subtle one; and I’d recommend reading and enjoying it, sharing it if you like, but remembering that, in the end, outward change requires inward change (“be the change you wish to see”-Ghandi yada yada yada) and committing to a goal. Go *towards* something. This cartoon is an impression expressed and a potential impetus. Use it. I have to say, though, I wouldn’t mind sending it to the White House anyway …. hey, it’s a process. :o)

    :O

  9. PeaceZGood says:

HI, HOOSFOOS. Whoops. My bad. I MEANT the White House, but just jumped ahead by a few months.

  10. DevBer says:

Oh my goodness. I learned from this strip today. I didn't know that about Saudi Arabia.

  11. PeaceZGood says:

The type of shading reminds me of a poem of which I can only remember a certain amount. It is, "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we promise to deceive."

  12. hoosfoos says:

    This is magnificent.

Can we send it to the White House?

  13. PeaceZGood says:

I like the symbolism of the shading, and the MEANING of this strip. Can we send this to the Democratic party?
