Is he, a reporter who prides himself on integrity, saying he never researched the kids and doesn't know the accusations of molestation were false?

I'm not great at the slutty thing either. I'd better clarify: I'm not a great singer, but like all the other people they show the first three days, I think I'm better than all the other people they show the first three days. But unlike all those people, I'm not sure I'd want to make a fool out of myself in front of 20 million people. So I'm not the best candidate for AA (or any reality show).
This reminded me of the 'Bloom County' sequence where MJ shows up in the feeb kid's bedroom (can't recall his name, Opus started out as his pet penguin).
That whole storyline looks _much_ different now than it did at the time.
Have to admit, my sympathy for MJ outweighs even my disgust and indignation, which is saying a lot. I am very glad that neither of my sons is having HIS childhood.

If not having talent, and if you can't be slutty, can you be weird? The other day on America's Got Talent, some idiot ate a light bulb and had blood dripping on his face, and he was LET THROUGH to the next round.
Not going on American Idol because you can't sing? You have obviously not watched enough American Idol. Or any other reality tv show for that matter. Talent and fame are completely unrelated these days. If you have no talent then can you be extremely slutty?
Inability to sing apparently doesn't stop others. The realization of that inability does.
