Spread the love

***EDIT – Only five more orders are needed to cover the cost of a print run of posters.***

Buy the Michael Jackson “Last Goodbye” series as a commemorative poster, and all profits will go to support one of Michael Jackson’s favorite charities. If enough orders come in to cover the printing and shipping costs by next week, I’ll go ahead and order a print run of posters (keep in mind it takes about 2 weeks to order a batch of posters and mail them out). If there aren’t enough orders by next week, whoever’s placed an order will get a full refund. Posters will come on 11″x17″ frame-ready card stock and shipping & handling are included in the price. All profits will be donated to Aids Project Los Angeles. Here’s how to order:

Domestic Orders: $15 (includes s&h)

International Orders: $25 (includes s&h)

100% of the profits from this poster will be donated to Aids Project Los Angeles, one of MJ’s favorite charities.

  1. all of my friends are Michael Jackson fans, we would really miss the King of Pop.

This was one of the few comic strips that I felt dealt with Michael Jackson's death with sincerity. Would you prefer he had do something safe, like, say, having Michael Jackson moonwalking through the pearly gates?
This was much more heartfelt. And I like the fact that a non-denominational afterlife is illustrated as opposed to a stereotypical, cartoon Christian one.

  3. @FatherStorm says:

I am also highly offended by you cavalier use of humor, sarcasm, comedic devices, ink and paper to express your own personal views and opinions. And to further insult us by not personally profiteering from the proceeds is by far the most despicable aspect of this heinous act. For Shame Dear Sir, For Shame!

  4. Not A Fan says:

I am highly offended by your insensitivity and disrespect for Michael Jackson in the wake of his death and imminent mourning period of his fans – along with the fact that your trying to benefit from this blatent act of disrespect. SHAME ON YOU! I have to ask, "What are you thinking?"
    signed,
    A fan – NO LONGER!

If you ever really were a fan, you'd know by now that sensitivity and respect are not exactly what Candorville is known for.

And I guess you missed the mention of APLA. After I met my deadlines yesterday I went back and added clear notice that all proceeds will go to Aids Project Los Angeles, one of Michael Jackson's favorite charities. Thanks to your kind post, I've realized some people don't actually read the whole post, so I've gone back and added boldface to that part, and an extra sentence at the beginning of the post, where people can't possibly miss it. I'll also add a note underneath the payment buttons and edit the banner to make it even more explicit. Wouldn't want to alienate any more "fans."

No good deed goes unpunished. 🙁

I was blown away by this week, which I thought was extremely respectful to the inner Michael in the end. I think "Not a Fan" is way out of line.
