  1. @ChayaFradle says:

When your whole world comes tumbling down around you, you first cry, then dry your tears and move the biggest boulders out of the way, and then climb your way to the top. You don't roll over and allow the day to fade to night. Whatever crumbs of beauty you can take with you on your climb upward, do. Whatever crumbs have rotted, you leave behind. Whatever is too heavy for you to carry you can leave behind to get later, or just let it go and realize that there are newer, more exciting items to see, get, or hold in the future. The future WILL come, even though it seems dark under the rubble. Only you can pull yourself out of it. I know because I have had many times over my 6 decades of life when my whole world crumbled. Each time I pulled myself up, I found a whole new world, a new life, new vision, a new outlook, and saw more beautiful colors in the flowers. When the leaves on the trees even barely moved, I noticed, whereas before, I'd take them for granted. With each climb, you are alone. No one can climb with you. Only encourage you. But when you get to the top, you'll be amazed at how many friendly and smiling faces will greet you.
