So you say you suddenly realized you wanted to spend the rest of your life with Susan. Yeah. And this happened at the exact same time you decided you desperately wanted OUT of your relationship with Roxanne. I fail to see what you're getting at. Fascinating.

Brilliant! Man, therapy can be confusing and sometimes even Dr. Noodle has insight

  2. Chayafradle says:

DR NOODLE? Oh, that is SO funny! Great name! hahahaha

  3. Doc says:

Thank you deeply for choosing to buck the trend and NOT portray the psychotherapy patient as sitting on the Freudian office sofa. It always frustrates me to see this depiction in other strips. That sort of sterotype can lead to preconceived notions about psychotherapy that can interfere with patients making the choice to meet with a professional clinician –Clinical Psychologist, WA State

  4. SteveS says:

So, what the doc is trying to get him to realize is that because of his father's fear of commitment, Lemont feels he needs a commitment to prove (even to himself) that he's not like his father. Well, that's one possibility, but I prefer the possibility that he'd really loved Susan all along but wasn't able to admit it while committed to marrying the vamp. But then I guess I'm just a romantic at heart.
