    Perhaps "Joss" is a reference to Joss Whedon of Buffy fame? If I haven't confused my pop cultural references.

    I’m sure of it; there’s no way that this has all been in Big L’s head. Susan has seen clear evidence that her dog is a werewolf, even if she’s in denial about it; that’s not Lemont’s hallucination. There’s been some other corroboration, which I can’t remember precisely right now. (Maybe I should buy the books and use them for reference.)

    So yes, I’m confident that Roxanne is a vampire. Or something even worse.
