AKA "Super-deformed" or "SD" — here's an example and explanation:

    Cheers. 🙂

I believe chibi is a Japanese word (hence its use w. animé-style drawing), meaning "little person," (not in the medical sense, just people who are small, incl. children). So it also connotes not just SD, but can refer to the style of drawing a smaller, younger version of a (cartoon) character- w/ exaggerated traits of cuteness– larger sized head & eyes.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain, you guys. The site you referred me to is so awesome! BTW, did you guys know that in reality, a person's eyes are the exact same size from birth to death? That's why babies appear as if they have huge eyes. As a person grows, their heads grow but not their eyes, making it appear that their eyes are smaller.

And, whatever happened to Lemont's LAWYER who was strung up in the Vampire fiance's dungeon?

  3. ChayaFradle says:

I wonder if Lemont will ever get custody over Lionel (is that his vampire ex's baby's name)?

  4. ChayaFradle says:

Isn't little Susan a DOLL? She is SO cute!

  5. ClairdelaLune says:

Alas, yes I do. And so I never did. And now it's too late. If Lamont weren't fictional, I'd tell him life is too short (damn drunk driver), but I've heard his creator rule out doing a Ross & Rachel, Lois & Clark, Niles & Daphne, Dax & Worf, Riker & Troi…

    • ChayaFradle says:

In SMALLVILLE on TV, Clark Kent has all sorts of problems with both Lois and Lana. Lana, they got rid of entirely. Lois thinks she's in love with some mysterious person (who is really Clark).

      • ClairdelaLune says:

Chaya, I was referring to the TV show, Lois & Clark, w/ Teri Hatcher & Dean Kain, which was quite a cute show, but fizzled when Clark told Lois his secret & they eventually married. Smallville "jumped the shark" so many times, I'm surprised it's lasted so long. [I didn't really follow it, but one of my sons, who was never a fan of the DC comics, did.] But then, I'm such a purist that I couldn't even stand the universally popular "Little House" TV series (nor it's egotistical creator, may he RIP) b/c it was not remotely faithful to the Laura Ingalls Wilder books. [Had a similar, tho much milder, grip w/ "Enterprise"'s lack of continuity, but Trekkieness supersedes all, eh, Darrin?]

        • ChayaFradle says:

Unfortunately, I agree that if Lemont and Susan ever hooked up, there would be a loss of tension to the series. However, I can see a new generation beginning if they hooked up and had kids specially another son, and then the Vampire mom began to make a scene about it. The half-brothers could also make a story in Candorville.
