  1. ChayaFradle says:

So, would C Dog be the Republican, and the man asking would be the disillusioned Democrat?

    • Laser Plumb Bob says:

Looks to me like C Dog knowingly gives advice obviously bad advice, intending for his clients to see the sarcasm, and hopefully do the opposite.

  2. ChayaFradle says:

It's like standing in the way of a child riding a bicycle and then laughing at him, saying, "See? You can't get by me, hahahaha."

  3. ChayaFradle says:

Back door politics is ALL about strategy. I'm SURE that's why they filibustered, so they can then laugh their way into congress. It's too bad that the Dems aren't as "shark-like" in their behavior when the Repubs are in charge. I think we're too naive and gentle. But then, that's why I'm a Democrat. Because I AM naive and gentle.

  4. ChayaFradle says:

I hope people aren't that stupid as to blame Obama for the mess he inherited and the inability to move immovable objects in congress.

    • SuburbanEcology says:

Unfortunately, when articles like this http://institute.ourfuture.org/blog-entry/2010104… (Eight False things the public 'knows') have to be written, your and my faith in people's intelligence is apparently misplaced.

      Sorry.

    • There was absolutely no way either side was going to restore the economy this quickly, but to make things worse, the reps have been fighting against the dems' policy changes, further slowing the process.; Then they turn around and make the public believe that the economy should be all rosy by now, and it's the dems' fault it isn't.

I've started to wonder if it wasn't their plan to lose 2008 so they could sabotage the dems and turn around in 2010-2012 when the upswing would probably already be started, and take the credit.

  5. "Used to say"? Is that, in itself, meant to suggest the downside of this cell-mate's decisions made in anger?
