Cable TV: the defendant in divorce cases all over the world. Why? Less attention to conversation and eye contact with spouses.

How interesting! I and several other people that I know gave up cable because of the cost. We replaced with the internet and books. I went to my parents' house for the holidays; it was the first time that I watched cable in 4 months. I realized that I didn't missed it.

I'm going to do that soont. Cable bill this month was $147! For expanded basic, HD channels and HBO. A year ago it was $80. Makes no sense. On the other hand, Netflix costs me $8/month. I think the cable companies are pricing themselves out of business.

  3. Laser Plumb Bob says:

shoot your television …. worked for me … there's almost nothing that I miss less than TV!

  4. ChayaFradle says:

Cell phone proliferation is the reason for the Cable companies jerking us around. We can't have analog anymore. Conflicts with the cell phones. Also, cable companies have a monopoly in various cities. In mine, there is only one and it charges outrageous prices JUST for the basic channels. My computer plays some things but the sound is never loud enough. I love, however, when Lemont is assertive. Good going, Lemont.
