   I'm surprised that you have bought into the "Uncle Tom" stereotype. Have you read the book? I just finished it and Tom was a principled man who was beaten to death for standing up to his cruel oppressor.

   It again baffled me that the nuts in the GOP are given full media exposure while the only sane candidate (Gary Johnson) is completely ignored.

     I'd like to feel baffled, but I'm not surprised. Today's GOP has moved so far toward its fringe that Goldwater would be seen as a moderate if he were in the race.

       And now you see why I'm libertarian, because the days of moderate conservatism like that Goldwater promoted is long gone.
