21ccb I've been having some big trouble with osteoarthritis and doctors who give me the runaround on why they won't give me hip replacement surgery. I just went to the third doctor, and he, at least, explained how hard it would be on me. He wants me in a wheelchair, AND that I should lose weight? Hah. Without walking (even though I use a walker, it is walking and exercise), I'd have to eat less than 800 calories a day to lose weight. So, I haven't been online for a couple of days as I have been sleeping most of the time to block out the pain. I can't take NSAIDS because I had weight loss surgery. I did lose the first 100 pounds, but they want me to lose nearly another 100. This latest doctor said not 100, just about 40 more pounds. I am NOT going to cut off my nose to spite my face by getting in a wheelchair and taking away the last little bit of muscles in my legs. Anyway, yes, I do remember the late 40's movies and early TV in the 50's. They did a lot of walls which turned. They didn't have cell phones, however. The wall shtick was VERY comedic. I doubt if Darrin is old enough to have remembered those episodes. Thanks for your concern. Big hugs!
Chaya, I'm so used to seeing you here every day. Now it's been 2 days, are you ok?
Darrin, in some vague way that I can't quite grasp, this reminds me so much of the humor of the late 40's movies and early television of the 50's more so than the 60's.
