    Hi! I am a regular reader of your strip, and must admit that I was somewhat amazed at the January 18 strip — I certainly understand the ecological message regarding the offshore drilling platforms and our fuel usage, etc…. BUT I am absolutely amazed that you would depict him driving and texting at the same time… not only stupid, but also illegal in most of the civilized world… Or, was that part of the message? I hope so…. 🙂

      He's not driving. He's parked along the shoulder. Hence the solid white line to his left.
