The Lesser of Two Evils

Spread the love

Before anyone writes to me about it, let me just go ahead and pre-emptively attack the issue of third parties: I’ll do so by mentioning that the phrase “pre-emptive attack” was given to us by the last President who was elected because a third party candidate was nothing more than a spoiler.

Cannibals prefer anyone who has no spines.
There’s 2 types of companies, those who work to try to charge many the ones that work to charge less. We are the next.

  2. Zirconia Wolf says:

The sad-but-true truth & the compelling reason behind every vote I cast, I am sad to say.

As laser plumb bob already said, in many instances you aren’t really voting for one candidate so much as you are voting against the others….and voting against something is still a better option than not voting at all! Now if only more folks would remember that maybe there would be less “sarcastic” voting come election day? (Your “sarcastic voting” strip is still one of my all time favorites & I find myself using that term a lot these days!)

    • Darrin Bell says:

Thanks, that was one of those "it's funny because it's true" ideas that I wish hadn't been so funny.

  3. George says:

Ain't that the truth? That's more than enough reason to go out and vote.

  4. laser plumb bob says:

Totally agreed!!!! … could not say it LOUD enough … we should all care about the issues … and vote …………… and keep in mind that (simply due to the "math") we are not voting for one side nearly as much as we are voting against the other side ….. (our system has evolved as rigidly two party, like it or not)
