  1. Katherine Johnson says:

I'm truly bummed. The News & Observer (Raleigh, NC) has cut Candorville from the comix. I'm petitioning for redress, but I don't know if they will restore it.

    • Darrin Bell says:

If you and your friends & family all write in, maybe they will (just please make sure they're all Raleigh readers). It seems they're going to restore the two most-requested strips, so if you'd like to see it back in your hometown paper, you can write to comics@newsobserver.com and vote for it.

      • ChayaFradle says:

Sigh. I wish I lived in Raleigh. I would, for sure, probably organize a HUGE protest! Good luck!

        • ChayaFradle says:

I don't live there, so I won't write in. They could easily see where I live on my facebook page.

  2. SuburbanEcology says:

    Thundering.

  3. Jamel Rodman says:

    Galloping? Doesn't sound dangerous enough.
Stampeding? Is four enough for a stampede? I dunno.

  4. Q. Pheevr says:

And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
scampers towards Bethlehem to be born?

  5. John says:

The four horsemen trotting toward us? Not too frightening.

The four horsemen fox-trotting toward us? Now that's scary.

    Cha-cha-cha.

  6. Zirconia Wolf says:

Oh I dunno- I have to imagine that the sight of four horses scooting across the sky is at least rather disarming if nothing else. I mean it's creepy enough when dogs do it, but horses…that's a whole new level of creepiness!

(And if you meant scooting as in riding around on a Segway, then that WOULD be seriously terrifying. When horses become that lazy then the end is most certainly upon us!)
