    I think I’ll celebrate by going to Starbuck’s. Hahaha/ 🙂

Ah hah! WE, THE PEOPLE defeated the machines! OBAMA wins by a landslide! No machine made by man can succeed against the most moral of characters!

  3. PeaceZGood says:

Tonight’s the night Nov. 4, ’08. We are now trusting the “machines” with our future, just as in some science fiction movie or television show. One day, it will be the machines who run for president. Duh, duh duh!!! (you hear the music?)

I sent the link to this strip to a ton of friends. I have been truly amazed by your strip ever since we got it in Austin. Also great to see doctor who reference since your main character has the star trek logo. Thanks for keeping us thinking.

Trully, you are the king of geeks-with-their-own-comic-strips (and I have very high geek standards.) I salute you.

It’s tragic that we have become so (rightly) suspicious of the voting process that we assume our votes will be tampered with or ignored. Fortunately, people seem to be excited enough about this election to vote anyway.

How about his “sixpack” and hunting rifle? And mooses- or should I say meese?

  7. Darrin Bell says:

I don’t know, but the way I wrote it, you don’t really have to know anything about Dr. Who, the Daleks, Hal 9000, Metropolis or the story of Golem to get the joke — which is that because of our complacency, an evil robot is taking over society and will kill if he doesn’t get his Starbucks.

  8. ldoolitt says:

Cool Dr. Who reference. But how many of your audience actually got it?

  9. karenjoycekleinman says:

Wow. Again, too bad this cartoon has to be based on real news. In one city, they found that over a thousand votes cast early for Barack Obama had all the votes counted one level below what was pressed all the way down the line. I wonder what is going to happen after the election. Will they, if Obama is elected, try to sue for reversal of the voting results? On the news it said it happened two times before with other elected officials. Their appointment was nullified.
