Racism Is Over

  1. Slipstick says:

It reminds me of that panel talking about racism in America and LeVar Burton talking about how he (and what he taught his son) handles being pulled over by the police. He takes off his hat and sunglasses, places them on the passenger seat, rolls down the window, and put his hands on the outside of the car door. It's outrageous that anybody from our community (American, geek, or human being, take your pick) feels that he has to do this to remain safe.

  2. chayafradle says:

The Supreme Court judges are like those animals which stick their heads into the ground and declare they see nothing, so nothing is wrong.

  3. chayafradle says:

There was a strip in the L.A. Times that didn't show up here on your site. It was the one where Lemont tells Susan that we are all someone else.

  4. chayafradle says:

Taking away protection is the same as opening up victimization once again. At least, that is how I see it. How can a Supreme Court rule that we can now "trust" that equal rights will be accomplished by the same states that fought for slavery? I just don't get it. Is something wrong with me?
