   Did you misunderstand what he meant? No. Does anyone ever misunderstand what a speaker using a double negative actually means? Rarely if ever. Sure, fix a double negative if you're being paid to do so, or if someone *asks* for your help — but please don't go around correcting conversational speech that ain't broke. You give us professional editors, who would never be so rude, a bad name.

   Not only is eye contact going to become obsolete, one on one communication that is VERBAL will, also. You see people texting while walking, texting each other from various rooms in the same house, but not very much communication that you can view in reality.
