    Lemont, you just didn't meet a woman who has the self confidence to appreciate those good qualities. It is true, though, some women like drama in their lives and are more used to being a victim in a relationship than wanting peace and security.

      I actually did BOTH.

      It's not hard to be a "good guy" AND attract women. If you walk with confidence, look them in the eye, smile, laugh at yourself, have interests or hobbies other than her, and ALWAYS know what you want to do for dinner, you're ahead of 95% of the other guys out there.

        Darrin, you did good! Mazeltov! BTW, don't forget to say "I love you" even after 50 years of marriage. I know an ex husband who asked, after the divorce, "Why should I have said I love you, when I already said it on our wedding day?"

  3. I've been where Lemont is right now. It's when you realize that at some level women like pigs ("pigs" being defined as assertive, take-control men who don't spend much time considering political correctness)
