   Why does the strip suddenly look so different? Haven’t seen a guest artist note, maybe I missed it?

     No guest artist. My Cintiq broke, so I had planned on sending reruns instead until it was fixed… but at the last minute (after Wacom told me it could take a month to fix) I decided to go ahead and draw these two weeks on an iPad Pro, because otherwise this week’s strips wouldn’t see print until after the election. I literally had three hours to draw them all, so I had to be as quick & minimalistic as I could be. That’s why it’s a lot looser and there are just a couple colors in each strip.

       Aha, gotcha. What about the lettering? Do you hand-letter with your Cintiq, but use a font when producing on the iPad?

       (edit) I’m guessing you just don’t have your usual font available to you on the iPad, now that I think about it.

         Yeah. My usual font (which I created a decade ago) wouldn’t work on iOS. So I downloaded a font creation app and created a new font for the iPad.
