More Mass Shootings Than Baseball Games

Spread the love

Sadly, Lemont’s correct. According to the Washington Post, in just the first 274 days of the year, there had already been 294 mass shootings in the USA. The definition of “mass shooting” they use is where four or more victims are killed or injured by gunfire. There were 294 of those. For those who are as bad at math as I am, that’s an average of more than one per day.

You are a "comic' in name only. I am old and white and a woman, and I love your work. BTW, I am so disappointed I missed your presentation at SF Chronicle. Come back, please, for another go-round!

  2. Macushla Bubbe says:

Absolutely nailed it, this and "The Black Panthers Were Patriots" are RIGHT on the money! And yet repub enacted Fed law BANS use of Federal funds to research gun violence! That is certifiably insane. NRA needs to travel back to its origins, when their GOAL was to end "random toting" of guns!

  3. cobbler says:

    good

  4. nightshadow says:

Well I may be white (and old) but dude, you nailed it. I love this strip.
