TRANSCRIPT: The guys watch the Olympics. Well, Brian, that was hardly a surprise. For a second it looked like the U.S. might pull an upset by denying “enemy combatants” proper trials. But China still reigns supreme in the “Denying People Their Rights” event. Well who would compete with harvesting prisoners’ organs? China big pimpin’.

    Not heart, heard. Sorry, typo.

In my Toastmaster group they were asking questions about the Olympics, and I said I don’t watch them but they should have an event called finger exercises. I’d win that one. Although the topic you’re on is difficult, it actually mirrors my feelings when I first heart that China was going to host the Olympics. It’s sort of like having a torture chamber host an optimist meeting and inviting Pollyanna for tea and crumpets. I can’t imagine what the Chinese citizens are feeling, knowing that the government is putting on this big show of goodness and cover ups to the world, and that after the Olympics, it will be back to same old same old.
