I hope the tradition of people reading newspapers doesn't go by the way of the dinosaurs because of the internet. Getting school children interested in the comics and using them as a source of discussion and debate would be a great way to save newspapers as the internet becomes more viable. Also, people love to read the letters to the editors, especially if they wrote them and the paper publishes them. Another way newspapers can stay alive is by running stories in the form of soap operas... with a "to be continued" format.
I wonder what newspaper editors thought about running this one. I must be like reading the first draft of your own obituary.
