If I ask Lemont questions, would I also receive $100? Like, I'd ask, did your father actually SAY it was your fault, and did you believe him. There is the blamer, and then there is the receiver willing to take on the blame. I would LOVE for a cartoon strip in which Lemont tells his father where to get off the boat and go take a dive, and then stops being the victim. This so often happens in REAL LIFE! Oh, I guess that's why it's called "Candorville", sorry for the quotes.
