The phone number the guy leaves is particularly very sad. I actually was choking when I read it. Weird, that comics do not always make you laugh, huh? A conundrum.
Unfortunately there are predators out there that do exactly this kind of stuff. Either Lamont's indecision has made him miss meeting with disappointment or getting conned. He actually might have gotten lucky on this one.
That was . . . painful. Like, _seriously_ painful.
I'm going to have to go look at my sleeping 8-year-old son
to get my joie de vivre back.
