  • I think Lemont is wrong. "To bear" also means to carry, and not necessarily to carry a burden. To 'bear with me' is to carry along with me--to be patient while we travel this road together. Lemont is not only a stickler, he's the worst kind of sticker--one who assumes that his interpretation is the right one, without doing his homework.

    That said, what I'd REALLY like to know is, what that woman had buried--and where!
