I don't see any comments on how you put a new(to me) view on the creationists/evolutionists "debate". But I expect that only a cartoonist could do that.
If this is a new view, I expect all the ministers and other religous hucksters will be adding it to their sermons.
I love the Sunday COLORING on the strips by the way...
Trying to get a strip in Texas public school science books?
Thanks Meridian. Ken, I also love your posts as well. Very, very astute!!!! Wouldn't it be great, though?
One of Darrin's strips will be in a university-level Texas politics textbook.
Is this TRUE? Which strip will be in the textbook? Are you kidding, Ken?
It's a strip on immigration from May 2006. I don't think it's in the on-line Candorville archive (but it's great). Darrin actually came up with the suggestion and I finally got the publisher to spend the money.
I'm not sure why publishers are so stingy. However, mine finally saw how reasonable Darrin's rates were after dealing with some of the editorial cartoonists.
What is retconning?
It is short for "retroactive continuity" changing facts in the middle of the story which had previously been established.
Thanks, Meridian. You are SO smart! I think I'll use this word in my next book that I write!
Be aware it is jargon mostly relegated to the comic-book community...
