  • Beats me why cartoonists only seem to point out the ears. Haven't we ever had a president with a big nose? :D

    • You may be too young to remember Tricky Dick Nixon's ski-nose? And his 5 o'clock shadow, too, a trademark of pol cartoonists since RMN's vice president days. Tho, when Nixon was elected in 1968, the great Herblock famously penned a barer shop w/ the sign, "This shop gives every president one free shave," and stopped using it.

  • @LaserPlumbBob: Chill, Bob. Did you not read parts 1 & 2, and note the title of this arc, "It's not the time"?
@DarrIn- love the little detail changes (as well as the message)-- from newspaper [a big, papery, thing, like a blog, only longer-- Craig Ferguson] to droid thingie, and the lefty's t-shirts.

  • Ah, the WISDOM of Candorville. I love the time comparisons in this strip. It's been done many times here before and I always get a KICK out of how people are so sure of things and use one form of logic, but when someone else is so sure and they don't agree, using the SAME form of logic, there is animosity. Gives me a chance to chuckle today.

  • So it's not society's responsibility to do something about this? So we should depend on the mad men who do these things to solve this problem? Yup ... that'll work real well!
