So let me get this straight ... It's not okay to compare a woman to an animal, even when that comparison carries no implicit negative connotation; but it's perfectly fine to compare a man to an animal when that comparison carries an explicit insult?
Lemont recognizes there are centuries of baggage and negative connotations that come with comparing women to animals. A lot of women don't like being objectified, especially by men they don't know. Even if it's a cute animal. Whereas "jackass" is gender neutral.
He also recognizes that calling a woman "Lady" (as if that's her name) is also loaded, because it comes off as dismissive.
Sometimes talking to members of the opposite sex is like walking through a minefield.
Ain't that the truth
I actually got called "politically incorrect" when I pointed out that a student who had only scored 23% in an exam was probably *not* an expert in that subject...
ROFLOL funny! Did you actually get hit? This cartoon is also funmy!
