I think I was barely old enough to read when I dragged down the science books (for very young kids) from the school library shelves. I remember thinking this was very cool stuff.

I had to talk like that with my first son when my second was in utero. He asked how the baby would get out. At first, I tried to explain scientifically, but he had the same expression on his face as Lionel does here. So, I sighed, and said, "He'll slide out on Mommy's inside sliding board". He said, "Oh." and that was that.
