And of course, BC's comment IS a haiku; 5-7-5 syllables, germane to the discussion, although aesthetically not approved by purists, who would insist it must express some appreciation on Nature...
C-Dog doesn't have to go to Asia to find Haiku; he can find it on Maui (although the town on Maui is named for the ancient Hawaiian land section of Haʻikū, which means "talk abruptly" or "sharp break" in the Hawaiian language).
