Even "Obamacare" is too expensive for many people!
That's why there are subsidies.
bc- I don't know about your state, but in mine, the subsidies only go to low income people who makes at least $11,000/year, and believe it or not, some working people don't make even that AND aren't eligible for Medicare/Medicaid! Thank you [not!] to my republican legislature who voted against accepting fed funds to expand Medicaid and fought the ACA in court until the very last minute, so never set up an exchange.]
