If a pantsing is when someone pulls down your pants, is a briefing . . . .
no, that would be a "debriefing," done after the fact to emphatically drive home the answer to the question "did that really just happen?"!!
Is it a given that the GOP is going to win big? African-Americans, Latinos, and women in general all have very good reasons not to check that box, and that's a major chunk of the electorate.
...Except history shows they (and college students) simply don't show up to vote in midterm elections. That's why the Democrats lost the House in 2010, and it's why they'll probably lose the Senate this year.
