I worked with Michael Everson on the proposal to get Klingon into Unicode, where the main problem was to get Klingon Web sites to use the pIqaD alphabet. So I wrote a reverse-transliterator from Latin alphabet to pIqaD, and sent several sites their own texts in pIqaD. It is catching on to some extent. We were also promised that the Klingon original of Hamlet will be republished in pIqad, but it hasn't happened yet.
Also, I used to be on staff at Baycon, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
