Several articles in the mainstream press have asked whether Donald Trump is a fascist. In a country where journalists avoid that comparison like the plague, that’s both scary and comforting. Scary for obvious reasons, but comforting because at least people notice it’s happening. Is Donald Trump un-American? When people all along the political spectrum, from left to middle to right, have begun asking that question, the answer is most likely “this demagogue is never going to get elected president.” But he can do a lot of damage along the way.

Unfortunately, too, too true. This is one of those sort of sad commentaries in a comic strip, but needs to be said.
