  1. […] that Candorville has lampooned liberal organizations like PETA, and liberal politicians like Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean, and John Edwards, and Barack […]

The syndicate that distributes Candorville to newspapers & websites like Yahoo decided “Krapton” just wouldn’t fly in the family papers. And they were probably right — I know of at least a few clients who just wouldn’t have run it in its original form. So they sent out the “Klampton” version to everyone. Yahoo and the papers never even saw the original “Krapton” version. I almost always post the originals here (except when I think their edit results in a better strip), so this happens from time to time.

    Yahoo Edits Candorville?

I showed this to a coworker yesterday. He usually reads the strip via Yahoo. Today, he informed me that when he looked at this strip, the name of the planet was ‘KLAMPTON’ not ‘KRAPTON’ as appears on this site!

Is this something Yahoo did or are they offered multiple versions of the strip for publication?

    Hi there,

Here is a comment from someone in Sweden who has followed the strip for a while.

I would just like to let you know that I am having a great time following current events in the US via Candorville. Smashing. I am glad there is an undertow in the US political circus (as it seems like from over here). But I also empathize with you as mainstream media will put an end to those nice chats on the bench, and decide the outcome in the elections.

In case you’re wondering, I, myself, am an artist.

Shades of Superman! Amazing representation of outer space, and I like the contrast of black and white. It makes the dreaming stuff stand out.

OK, this is funny. I get it.
