  1. PeaceZGood says:

Don, not all gay men are white. I used to study hairstyling on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles, and can attest to meeting all nationalities of gay men as they came in and out of the beauty school. Although California has a mixed group of nationalities, it is odd they, too, voted against the marriage “proposal” (I guess that’s a pun, huh?).

  2. Don says:

I find it interesting that Colorado voted for a black man for President and to continue discrimination against white men.

LOVE this cartoon. Great logic on Lemont’s part. I love when he says what logical people usually think when hearing how narrow minded people try to justify their opinions. And great expose of how prejudiced people have no clue that when they open their mouths, they show their own ignorance.

  4. wmcal says:

Shame, shame, shame. Judge not, lest ye be judged. People need to realize that this is truly a civil rights issue. There is supposed to be a clear separation between church and state. When blacks were given the right to vote and laws against interracial marriage laws were struck down, most people thought (and many still do) it was immoral and voted to keep blacks from voting and to up hold the miscegenation laws. Thankfully the courts put aside those votes and hopefully this vote will be set aside. And no, I’m not gay.

If you feel it is immoral, that is your right, don’t participate in a gay relationship, but don’t force your religious views on other people. That’s the difference between America and Middle Eastern countries, they force you to believe as they do or die…

  5. Kelly says:

Ain’t that the truth. The bible has been used to promote all sorts of prejudice by people who choose to miss its real messages: love one another and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I would like to believe that this will change now but I have to admit I do not think it will. Safety first seems to be the rule of any Presidency.
