I don't hate Lemont. In fact, he's the only one I can relate most to in this series. I just dislike the way he corrects everyone during a conversation.
I think you forget that he's just a fictional character. Most of the stuffs happen to him are greatly exaggerated. It's not like I'm happy a real person got hurt. I just find it humorous that the girl he keeps correcting finally put him in his place.
While I agree that it's not necessarily "what's coming to him," being hospitalized and all, I do agree that the correcting of other people's word usage, while amusing, might get annoying at one point. It wouldn't be annoying to the point where hospitalization of the person who is correcting the grammar is necessary, but annoying nonetheless.
By the way, I finally canceled my local newspaper, The Maui News, subscription this week to save a tidy sum each year. Don't miss it yet.
But I digress, Candorville and Cat and Girl are my favorite comics, though I don't understand Cat and Girl all the time.
lol, Lemont finally got what coming to him.
Lemont did nothing wrong. What do you mean, what's coming to him?
Amor is not living up to its meaning.
THIS JUST IN: Love Hates Lemont! More at 11.

I do that all the time. Guess that's why I got BC and a stroke? Probably. Good I still have a sense of humor!

Poor Lemont- He's hallucinating. I guess the little boy finally called for help, though. That's good, right?
