    Actually, Chaya, co-sleeping like a sensitive uber-hippie thing, so in the sense that "hippie" overlaps with "liberal", it–and all of "attachment parenting"–is TOTALLY politically correct.

      Thanks, Tangerine. I also picked them up when they cried to sooth them even though people told me I'd spoil them. They were never spoiled and ended up really good kids who never gave me troubles. (Except for not washing dishes because of homework, which was ok with me because they were in highly gifted classes and it took until midnight to finish.)

    Umm. I know it is not politically correct, but I did let my kids sleep in the bed with me until they were about 4 years old or a little older, whenever they wanted.

    Try driving him around in the car for a while. It always worked for my kids.
