   This is a great story to use with high school students. First we will discuss story structure including charaters/characterization. I am delighted to see the use of a loving, male parent. Then, with them I want to pose the following question. Is part of the reason for children and parents encountering conflict because parents want to feel needed or because they just don't trust their children's judjement?
