***EDIT – Only five more orders are needed to cover the cost of a print run of posters.***
Buy the Michael Jackson “Last Goodbye” series as a commemorative poster, and all profits will go to support one of Michael Jackson’s favorite charities. If enough orders come in to cover the printing and shipping costs by next week, I’ll go ahead and order a print run of posters (keep in mind it takes about 2 weeks to order a batch of posters and mail them out). If there aren’t enough orders by next week, whoever’s placed an order will get a full refund. Posters will come on 11″x17″ frame-ready card stock and shipping & handling are included in the price. All profits will be donated to Aids Project Los Angeles. Here’s how to order:
International Orders: $25 (includes s&h) 100% of the profits from this poster will be donated to Aids Project Los Angeles, one of MJ’s favorite charities. |
Good catch. It is, actually. But it's also more than that.
Darrin, the link on the left for Daily Kos takes me somewhere else, not to Daily Kos. MJ messing with you from beyond?
It's been over 3 days….why hasn't MJ risen yet?
Oops, typo. Thanks!
The imagery brings to mind the Anime "Galaxy Express 999."
Odd, Susan, I wasn't thinking Yoko Ono, but Marilyn Manson cast as Severus Snape. Which is _almost_ as scary as MJ looked toward the end.
And yes, Mr. Bell, this is head, shoulders, trunk and groin above most of the cartoon tributes I've been seeing. I can actually _hear_ MJ speaking your lines.
That would explain a lot. I wonder if Joe still has the contract or if it burst into flames upon MJ's death.
I love how your MJ looks like Yoko Ono. Also, I totally feel Lamont on this subject.
Maybe it's because I was raised on "Married With Children" in addition to the Cosby Show, but I didn't notice any crap English at all.
Thanks for the compliments. This week is in part a reaction to the superficial Michael Jackson tribute cartoons I saw all over the web the morning after he died. MJ's life left people with conflicting emotions, and I thought that deserved to be acknowledged and explored.

Completely not important but what bus they are they on? I don't think that's Galaxy Railways…
They're on the A Train (I won't say what "A" stands for, but you'll probably figure it out). I wouldn't be surprised to learn some literary figure used the same device, but not to my knowledge. As far as I know, I made it up. Although maybe it's inspired by the bus in that old Robert Downey Jr. movie "Heart and Souls." That was a good flick.
Huh. When I saw it was the A train (I saw the A above the conductor's window), I thought it was a reference to Duke Ellington.
Sorry for the crap English, by the bye.
Lemont is entirely too right about "Reaper". That was a good sh— Oh.
You're handling the MJ storyline really well. Thanks. I really didn't think his death would bother me this much, which bothers me for a number of reasons. Blergh. It's so confusing in my head right now. It helps having Lemont dreamwalk me through it. Cheers, Mr. Bell.
Excellent drawing and dialogue!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really a good one!
