Hippiethermia? Is that when the Occupy camp becomes snowbound?
I'm still undecided how much of the 'vampire' story to take at face value. If it's literally true (in the world inside the strip), Lionel has an interesting life ahead of him as a human/vampire halfbreed. If it's not, well, he can grow up to be President.
Full disclosure – I took an Asian-American studies class at UC Berkeley back in the XXth Century, and one of the books we read was Maxiine Hong Kingston's "Woman Warrior". There was a section in which the narrator was relating a story the narrator's mother told her of the mother's days studying medicine in China, and the night she had to fight a ghost in her dorm room. I took it for granted that the mom had actually, really fought a ghost, and was surprised that very few other students did so.
Awww. I liked the lawyer character (and isn't he Lionel's second lawyer's uncle?).
And now I'm worried for Dr Noodle. He did refuse Roxanne's demand. This may have annoyed her.
Yes, for sure. She might string him up by one of his noodles. Haha.

If Lionel is of mixed vampirism, I'd hate to see when he loses his baby teeth. Hahaha.
I believe she did eat the lawyer. He was in the dungeon too long and probably died of hippiethermia.
